Concerts, Buffets, Craft Boutique & Mini-Vacation

Two diverse weekends of music for the holiday season highlight the 35th annual series of Christmas concerts and buffet dinners, plus the 16th annual Christmas Crafts Boutique for December, 2012. Concerts are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and at 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. Buffet seatings precede the concerts. Artists

December 6-9, 2012

Tim Zimmerman & The King's Brass have been favorites at Mount Hermon for more than 20 years. Nine performers bring a big and bold brass sound, with percussion and organ, and an infectious program of traditional music for the season. Audience caroling included.

December 13-16, 2012

The Ralph Carmichael Big Band, 16 members strong, presenting the big band sound Carmichael has made famous, back for their second block-buster appearances, but four nights this visit. 

 

Buffet Dinner

While there is no charge for the concerts, due to limited seating, guests must purchase a buffet ticket in order to attend a concert. A freewill offering is taken at each concert for Mount Hermon’s expenses of bringing in outstanding artists. Save with group rates (to be announced). 

Thursday-Saturday seatings for the Buffet run 5:00–6:15 pm. Reservations required. See the Registration Office for your assigned seating time. The concert follows at 7:30 pm
Sunday Buffet seatings begin at 11:30 am and the concerts follows at 2:30 pm. All concerts include audience caroling.

 

Redwood Canopy Tours Present "Twilight Twinkle Tours"

Join us for the holiday "Twilight Twinkle Tours."  The elves will take over and decorate the course again with lights for the holiday season.  Seats are limited for these tours.  Specific dates will be posted by July 1, 2012,with reservations available on-line.

 

Sunday Worship Service

A public worship service is held each weekend on Sunday, Dec. 9 and 16, at 10:00 a.m.  Speakers to be announced.

 

Craft Boutique
Free admission to peruse over 30 craft exhibitors, with original and exclusive creations.  Come and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot cider as you wander the beautiful aisles for gifts for your friends and family.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the Mount Hermon Campership Fund, to provide scholarships for those who attend camps and conferences.

  

Mini-Vacation Option

Extend your time at Mount by combining your buffet and concert with a one-night stay in our lodge accommodations, with a complimentary continental breakfast the next morning.  Rates for individuals and groups will be announced by June 1, 2012.
