Spring Women's Retreat

at Ponderosa Lodge

Ponderosa Lodge is beautifully situated at the top of Mount Hermon underneath towering Ponderosa Pines. An award winning lodge,self-contained cabins which each sleep 8 women are nestled into communities under the trees providing a terrific setting for small groups and individuals to experience God's creation. Combine the beauty of the setting with a well-rounded program and you have a great recipe for a weekend of retreat, refreshment, recreation and rejuvenatiion without any of the hassle of retreat committees and volunteer burnout.

This late spring weekend feature Libby Vincent as the speaker.

Libby Vincent has always had a vision for communicating with others in a clear and life changing way.  This desire came to fruition during her college years at UCLA where she began to follow Jesus and nurture her enthusiasm for making faith come alive in a genuine and authentic way.  Her pursuit to fulfill those desires took her Fuller Theological Seminary and then on to the University of Edinburgh for her PhD.  While in Scotland, she served as an Associate Pastor of Colinton Parish Church in Edinburgh.  Upon returning to the US she served as an Associate Pastor to singles, university students and adults at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. 

Libby currently resides in the Sacramento area and teaches as an adjunct professor at Fuller Seminary in Northern California in the area of Systematic Theology and Theology and Film.  She travels extensively speaking at conferences and encouraging others on their faith journey.  Her struggle of having a child with autism has made her particularly passionate about helping people integrate the truths of the Christian faith with the realities of life.  

In addition to our sessions with Libby, you will also have the opportunity to chose from a number of optional seminars on areas of spiritual growth, Biblical knowledge, relationships and fun!

Marti Williams will be leading our times of worship.
