Spring Reflective Retreat – March 18-20, 2011

Mount Hermon’s Spring Reflective Retreat is a time to focus on your walk with Jesus. A time to listen for His still small voice of awakening. The Reflective weekends differ from Mount Hermon’s other women’s conferences. There will be several short sessions around the theme of Blessed . . . and then you will be released to spend a quantity of time alone, listening to Jesus, with some materials that will be prepared for you.

Women’s Spring Retreat at the Conference Center – March 25 -27, 2011

Can You Hear the Story? Our lives really do have a story to tell. This weekend provides an opportunity to discover the message God wants to speak through your life to this world. You’ll begin to see that God has woven purpose and meaning into the ordinary fabric of your life. The result? As you hear the story of your own life, new hope and confidence will emerge.

We are excited to offer a Spring Retreat weekend during this season at the Conference Center. The Conference Centers offers several housing options to meet your needs from private lodge rooms to cabins for groups.

Spring Women’s Retreat at Ponderosa Lodge – April 29 – May 1, 2011

Women’s retreats at Ponderosa Lodge combine a spectacular with a well-rounded program to create you have a great recipe for a weekend of retreat, refreshment, recreation and rejuvenation. Whether you come with a few friends or as a larger church group, this weekend has the flexibility to meet your needs.

Ponderosa Lodge is beautifully situated underneath towering Ponderosa Pines. An award winning lodge, self-contained cabins which each sleep 8 women are nestled into communities under the trees providing a terrific setting for small groups and individuals to experience God’s creation.

If you are like me, your Fall schedule hasn’t turned out the way that you were hoping. The time you planned to take to spend sitting at the feet of Jesus has been eaten away with the day-to-day pressures of life. Perhaps you have even had an unexpected event shatter your peace and change nearly every aspect of your life. We would encourage you to come away to one of the two Fall Reflective Retreats at Mount Hermon. Here you will arrive to a place that has been prepared for you to rest, listen to the Lord’s voice in your life, be fed spiritually and physically and re-focus before the rest of the year. The two weekends, Nov 7-9 and Nov 12-14, are identical in program and theme. You can even plan to come a day early, get settled in your room and get both physically and spiritually prepared for the weekend. Meals will be provided for the early arrivals, but the program will not begin until Friday evening.

This year we have a number of cabins in our housing allotment. Choosing a cabin option gives you your own bedroom with a shared living area and bath. You can request to share the cabin with friends, or be placed with someone you don’t know. Single occupany is still available in the hotel rooms, but for an additional charge.

The theme for both weekends is the Parable of the Prodigal. Each retreat session will explore the characters in the story in an inter-active way. There will also be a new prayer labyrinth also set to the theme. I suspect that it will be hard to get away, to commit the time and resources. Can you really afford not to? Mount Hermon would like to remind you that camperships are always available, so don’t let fiances get in your way of coming.
