What Is An Intern At Mount Hermon?

We are looking for passionate, service-oriented, kingdom minded young adults to join our staff community for a year of training, community living, and work experience. Mount Hermon offers intenitionally crafted internship opportunities for young adults (post college or with equivalent life experience) interested in exploring Christian Camp ministry as a vocation. The following objectives are set forth to clarify our intentions for these positions.

Santa Cruz, CA Location:

Kidder Creek Location (Fort Jones, CA):
- Program/Marketing
- Ranch/Facilities
Quick Details

- 1 or 2-year program for recent college graduates. A full year commitment is asked initially.
- Starts September 5, 2012 and ending after the conclusion of summer on September 3, 2013.
- Work a minimum range of 40-45 hours per week.
- $1,000 per month plus a F.L.I.P. (Food, Lodging, Instruction, and Program) Package, = yearly compensation package up to approximately $23,300 per year.
- Instruction includes (1) books and materials for all curriculum, (2) additional teaching, curriculum, and training experiences, (3) necessary work-related training.
- Discounted tuition associated with coursework at Western Seminary.
- Ten paid vacation days per 12 month internship (this includes Mount Hermon's Christmas holiday)
- Opportunity to participate in a support- raising program.
- Medical benefits are not provided through Mount Hermon.
