A few tips to insure that your gift is receipted in 2011
 
Cash or Check Gift:
If you are making a gift to Mount Hermon by cash or check, please be sure your envelope is postmarked by December 31, 2011.

ACH Gift
If you are making a transfer directly from your checking or savings account, please allow 3-4 business days for the completion of your transfer. Click here to give online.

Credit Card Gift:
If you are making a gift by credit card, be aware that the gift date is the date the charge is posted to your account. The postmark date does not apply with credit card gifts sent through the mail.

Credit card gifts made by phone are processed during Mount Hermon business hours, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:00pm (PST); please submit your credit card gift no later than 4:00pm (PST) on Friday, December 30 by calling the Advancement Department at 831.430.1244 or click here to give online.

Stock Gift:
Donating stock has all of the benefits of a cash contribution and more.  If you have stock that you have owned for over one year, you may donate it to Mount Hermon Association, Inc. and use its fair market value as of the date the gift is completed as the amount of your donation. This benefits both Mount Hermon and you.  You are not required to pay any capital gains taxes on it because you have donated it rather than sold it.  And, Mount Hermon receives the full value of the stock (less broker fee). Please allow 2 – 5 business days for the completion of your transaction.  If your transaction involves a stock certificate, please allow a minimum of 2 weeks.
