Activities & Recreation at Kidder Creek

Kidder Creek borders the Marble Mountain Wilderness and the Klamath National Forest, and sits in the shadows of majestic Mount Shasta in Northern California. These outdoor arenas offer a host of opportunities for Whitewater Rafting, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Backpacking, High Ropes Course and an unforgettable Peak Ascent.

Look over these great options and choose your challenge:

    • Whitewater rafting – Heart pounding class three and class four water, that is perfect to give both the beginning and the experienced rafter a perfect day on the river.  This activity is great for campers, youth groups and family groups.

    • Whitewater kayacking – Want an even more thrilling day on the river?  Try our inflatable kayaks and make the whole river your wet and wild experience.

    • Horseback riding – Kidder Creek is one of the few camps able to give you three very different types of horseback riding experiences:

      1) Traditional trail rides

      2) Instructional training on horseback  -and-

      3) High country horse pack experiences

(including couples, deer hunting and fly-fishing adventures)

    • Ropes course – Conquer your fear as you enjoy this unique experience, and challenge yourself to reach higher.

    • Pond area – Besides a great waterfront, the Kidder Creek pond features a waterslide, a climbing icebeg, and a adjascent athletic field.

    • Flyfishing – Kidder Creek is nestled in amongst some great fishing opportunities, and offers a flyfishing weekend with full guide service that takes advantage of these superb fishing waters.

    • Deer and pheasant hunting – these are great outdoor adventures, led by experienced Christian guides, and carried out in a unique natural setting.

Kidder Creek offers services to the public without discrimination and with a special use permit from the Klamath National Forest.
