About the Tours

The Redwood Canopy Tours at Mount Hermon offers visitors an exciting eco-adventure in the redwood canopy of the Santa Cruz Mountains.  Guests will enjoy the pristine beauty of the coastal redwood forest from the unique perspective only a canopy tour can offer. The two hour all-inclusive guided tour includes six zip lines up to 440 feet long and two sky bridges at heights of up to 150 feet. Each tour of eight is led by two certified guides who share their ecological knowledge and bring the history of the Santa Cruz redwood forest to life. The Redwood Canopy Tours are the original canopy tour zip lines in the redwood forest and are the only facility of its kind in the region. The tour has been designed to be an exciting educational activity that showcases the majesty of the redwood forest.

Register your student in three steps:

1. Check with your school teacher and/or outdoor science trip coordinator to see if your school is electing to participate in the Redwood Canopy Tour.

    

2. Carefully read the Participant_Requirements_for_Outdoor_Science_Students.pdf Participants must be 52 inches tall and weigh at least 75 lbs.

    

3. Coordinate registraion with your school. Make checks payable to Mount Hermon and turn them in to your school teacher.
