Mount Hermon Outdoor Science School
The Santa Cruz Mountains offer a rich classroom where students will have the opportunity to experience science first hand. Mount Hermon Outdoor Science School offers a unique opportunity where students, individually and collectively, can interact with the environment around them, gaining rich educational experiences and growing through the distinct challenges that they will face. All curriculum is developed around the California State Science Standards. Benefits include:
The Mount Hermon Outdoor Science School maintains a Registered Nurse on staff who's time and oversight is included in our regular program rates. Our nurse is on site and on call every day to dose all appropriate medication and address all specific needs of students and chaperones. Our health center is staffed by a trained health aid from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm and may be staffed overnight.
