The Redwood Canopy Tours at Mount Hermon offers visitor of all ages an exciting eco-adventure in the redwood canopy of the Santa Cruz Mountains.Guests will enjoy the pristine beauty of the costal redwood forest from the unique perspective only a canopy tour can offer. The two hour all-inclusive guided tour includes six zip lines up to 440 feet long and two sky bridges at heights of up to 150 feet. Each tour of eight is led by two certified guides who share their ecological knowledge and bring the history of the Santa Cruz redwood forest to life. The Redwood Canopy Tours are the original canopy tour zip lines in the redwood forest and is the only facility of its kind in the region. The tour has been designed to be an exciting, accessible activity for people of all ages.

Each tour is limited to 8 people to ensure guests receive the attention they deserve. Due to limited capacity and advance scheduling requirements it is imperative that reservations be made in advance. Hours of Operation

The Redwood Canopy Tours are open Tuesday through Sunday during the spring, summer, and fall with reduced operations in the winter season. Hours and tour times vary based on call volume and anticipated bookings. Please see the website for the most up to date information.

Perfect for the Entire Family

The Redwood Canopy Tours are designed to be a low impact, accessible, eco-adventure experience that can be shared by the entire family. The only requirements for participation in our zip line experience are that participants be at least 48” tall, weigh between 75 and 250 pounds and meet standard health requirements.

Safety Is Our Top Priority

Our canopy tour was designed and constructed by Bonsai Design, Inc. Bonsai was selected for their unique creativity, attention to detail and adherence to the national standards developed by the Association for Challenge Course Technology. Top quality certified U.S.-made cables and hardware are utilized throughout. Daily visual checks are made, complimenting periodic and annual inspections. Prior to leading their first tour, our guides complete over 50 hours of intense training in all aspects of guiding, safety and emergency procedures.
