Wrangler in Training

If you love to ride, and are looking for spiritual and physical challenge, the WIT program has been designed specifically for students like you!

In order to earn the title “WIT”, you must complete WIT training (Horse Leadership week) in June.  This intense one-week session challenges your horsemanship and riding ability while developing the leadership and horse skills you need to excel on the ranch.  By the end of the week, you will be prepared to assist in the duties and responsibilities of our Wranglers.

When you return to the ranch for our two-week program as a trained WIT, you'll engage as a leader while teaching alongside our Wranglers, you'll develop skills as a rider during your weekly lesson (exclusive to WITs), and you'll grow through our daily spiritual program, combining authentic Christian community with the truth of Scripture.

In between weeks at camp, the adventure continues as you discover the beauty of God's creation while conquering the rapids of the Klamath River, and swinging from the trees of our high ropes course.

For those who can't commit to a two-week session later in summer, consider sticking around after Horse Leadership week for our new one-week WIT session! You'll still get to assist the wranglers, have a WIT-exclusive riding session, play at the pond, and go whitewater rafting on the weekend between Horse Leadership and your WIT week, but you'll still have the rest of summer for your other adventures.

Call us at 888.226.7386 to be a part of the Kidder Creek experience as a Wrangler-in-Training (four students per session, application required).
